The times are changing, so is our Weather..

11 Nov

As the years have gone by, we have seen a intense change in our climates in the U.S. I myself live in an area dominated by Winter (Go Bills) that for the past five- six years have seen an alternate version of winter, one I am not used too. This is happening all over our country, places that are usually warm and dry have experienced cold temperatures and snow, and some places have seen warm weather where usually they are at the freezing point this time of the year.

In this scoop it article I have placed in my blog, is an article on the changing climate of the MidWest and how this will not only effect them but all of the other climate zones in our country. Its interesting that our climate has started going through intense changes in the same time period as  our technological advances have gone through the roof, changing everything we know and how we do it. Is it a coincidence? If one was to follow a time line of our technological advances from 1990 until now while also following a timeline of our climate changes, they would see as we have advanced technological, we have also began to see more and more changes in our countries weather.

This is a topic that will need further research, but keep a look out for an update on this topic soon! As I said is it a coincidence? Does this technology, these Ipads, and tablets, and phones and now watches all come at a price that we aren’t aware of?

Gay Parents Are Like ‘5-Year-Olds Who Think They Can Drive Cars,’ Apostle …
Huffington Post
… off on a controversial study about gay parenting, which claimed to find disadvantages for children raised by same-sex parents.

Kevin Au‘s insight:

Gay Marriage, an already controversial issue, but now that it has grown and become legal in over 10 states many people have begun to critize it further. In this article Apostle Paul Rodger has made many discriminating and controversial comments about Gay parents ability to have and raise children.”Well, we have 5-year-olds who think they can drive cars but the reality is there is a certain way that things are structured and there are certain things that are in order.”That is just one of the many obsurd comments Paul made in his live interview on Fox. A controversial man in a very controversial topic defiinelty lit the powder keg and has sparked an insane amount of feedback, that hasnt be in favor towards our friend Paul the Apostle. In the scheme of things hes only one of thousands who share similar opinions but what can be learned from this? Should the government make a stand? How far is too far?

Kevin Au‘s insight:

Racial profiling has gone a long way since the civil rights movement more than 50 years ago. That being said it still hasn’t gone too far from our culture. A couple weeks back a 19 year old named Trayon Christain was arrested after purchasing a $350 belt from world famous Barney’s New York. This all occured after a clerk assumed the credit card Trayon used to purchase the belt was stolen. Now many celebrities are speaking out about the manner including Jay-Z in the scoopit article above. Very controversial topic, a issue with our culture that seems to be almost never ending. But who is at fault for these prejudices? The media? Us as a people? Who do we really point the finger that, that is the question.
